Starting from 2006, JMHF has been providing professional counselling services to people who are emotionally disturbed. We aimed to find suitable help and treatment to those in needs as soon as possible to facilitate early recovery.

People seeking help for emotional distress and their families

Age: Primary to Elderly (Counselling will be arranged for those below primary level as appropriate)

No referral is required

Maximum 8 sessions, 50-60 minutes per session

Applicants is not allowed to choose their own counsellors and will be matched according to the applicant's situation

Each counsellor has a fixed service time slot, service users can only choose to have a counselling during the designated time slot

Counseling services charge an administrative fee of $300 per session

People receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance and those with financial difficulties can apply for "Waiver of Counseling Service Fees". The Association will accept applications on a case-by-case basis.

Call 2301 2303 to apply, the hotline volunteer will understand the needs of the applicant, and if the applicant is initially assessed to be suitable, he/she will be matched with a counsellor

All applications must be made in person, relatives or friends cannot call on behalf of the applicant (except those under 18 years old)
